2nd Grade Teacher
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Furman University. I also have a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from GA State University. I clearly love learning and growing!
I have been a part of the PSSD since our family moved here in 2015! I have been involved as a parent, a substitute, an assistant, and a 2nd grade teacher. I love working at Rhea Elementary and for the PSSD.
I have experience both in special education and general education, both in GA and TN. I am a firm believer that everyone is growing and learning and that relationships matter!
My husband, Carleton, and I have been married for 21 years. We have five amazing children here on Earth and 2 blessings in Heaven. Our oldest daughter goes to Murray State University. We have 2 children who attend Henry County High School, one attending Grove High School and one attending Inman Middle School. We also have an adorable cate named Nutmeg!
When I am not at school, I can be found on the soccer fields, at the KPAC, or celebrating with my Church family. I love supporting my children do what they love! I also enjoy reading a good book while drinking a cup of coffee.
